Based in Central Switzerland, Captain Alfonso Ochoa brings over 15 years of experience sailing in both saltwater and freshwater, with over 4,000 nautical hours logged on a wide range of vessels, from agile sports boats to modern cabin cruisers.
A qualified skipper with a calm and confident leadership style, Alfonso combines technical expertise with genuine hospitality. From open ocean cruises to the tranquil beauty of Lake Lucerne, every experience is designed to make guests feel safe, relaxed and inspired.

Note: we are often at the lake with guests; we will contact you as soon as possible.
Can I bring my own drinks and food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board. To keep the boat comfortable and clean for all guests, we kindly ask you to avoid red wine, strongly coloured drinks, crisps, greasy snacks or any products that may stain the seats or interior.
We will provide the essentials for a pleasant experience on board, including glasses, napkins and a suitable space to keep your products at a pleasant temperature during the cruise.
Note: there is no full refrigeration system on board, and the responsibility for external food and beverages rests with the guest.
Weather policy (rain, storms)
In case of unsafe or stormy conditions, the experience will be cancelled at no cost to both parties.
If an unforeseen weather event forces the experience to end prematurely, only the part already completed will be charged.
Our boat is designed to operate safely and comfortably in most weather conditions, including light rain.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy
To ensure smooth operation and fair planning:
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to departure are free of charge.
- Rescheduling is possible up to 48 hours prior to departure; subsequent changes are charged at 100%.
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing via WhatsApp or email to be considered valid.
Are your boats licensed for commercial use?
Yes, our vessel is fully compliant with Swiss maritime regulations and is officially registered for commercial passenger operations on Lake Lucerne.
The boat is registered as a commercial passenger vessel under Swiss registration UR 530, with the official usage category “Gewerbsmässiger Personentransport”.
Vessel details: Jeanneau Merry Fisher 795 SPT, registration number 991.582.400, hull number FR-SPBXR248G324, approved for up to 9 persons.
The skipper holds a Swiss Schiffsführerausweis with category A – motorised vessels, issued by the Canton of Lucerne.

This is best done in the summer, aboard a steamboat with modern traction solutions. Each town on both the left and right banks has many dining, historical, cultural, and natural attractions.
A stay of at least three days is recommended to fully immerse yourself in the beauty, whether you're alone or in a group. There's no shortage of specialties, and each place offers its own, always with the typical, shared warmth. Don't forget an umbrella; it might be useful for a few hours, but then the sun will
always return. We're travelers, and as such, the elements don't scare us; on the contrary, they make the journey beautiful.
