What’s the weather like?
Weather on Lake Lucerne varies by season and can change throughout the day.
Our cruises operate according to safe weather conditions. For your comfort, we recommend checking the local forecast before boarding and bringing a light jacket, even on warm days.

Drinks are available for purchase, and our snack selection is designed to complement a relaxed experience on the lake.
If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Which foods and drinks are restricted on board?
To help us keep the yacht in pristine condition, certain foods and drinks are not permitted on board, as they may cause permanent stains.
Not permitted:
Red wine
Berries of any kind (e.g. raspberries, blueberries)
Melted cheese or chocolate
Dips or chocolate-based spreads
Oily foods (such as olives)
Curry-based or similar dishes
Spicy or artificially colored snacks and chips
Sunscreen & sun spray guidelines
To protect the yacht’s interior, sunscreen and sun spray should be applied before boarding whenever possible.
If reapplication is needed during the cruise, please spray sunscreen into your hands first and then apply it to your skin.
After application, we kindly ask guests to sit on a towel to help protect the seating surfaces.
Are towels available on board?
Guests are welcome to bring their own towels.
Towels are also available for rent on board for CHF 5 per towel, including cleaning.
Is luggage handling available?
We offer a luggage handling service to make boarding and disembarking easier and more comfortable.
The service is available for a flat fee of CHF 50, which includes carrying assistance and additional cleaning.
Pets
Small dogs are welcome on board.
Please note that owners are responsible for their dogs at all times.
Smoking & vaping on board
To maintain a clean and comfortable environment on board, traditional smoking is not permitted.
Vaping is allowed outdoors, provided it does not disturb other guests.
Lost & found
While we do our best to help recover misplaced items, we cannot assume responsibility for lost or forgotten belongings.
We recommend removing jewelry and securing personal items before swimming.
Onboard minibar & souvenirs
A selection of chilled beverages, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, is available on board at transparent and fair prices.
For larger groups, we recommend pre-ordering drinks in advance to ensure availability and proper cooling.
A small selection of souvenirs is also available on board. Prices are listed on board.
Helping us keep El Patrón pristine
Thank you for helping us keep El Patrón in near-new condition.
We kindly ask our guests to:
Avoid foods and drinks that may cause permanent stains
Apply sunscreen before boarding and use a towel when seated
Your cooperation helps ensure that El Patrón remains in excellent condition for every guest and every cruise.
Can I extend my cruise duration during the trip?
Cruise time extensions may be possible upon request and are subject to availability, provided there is no subsequent booking immediately after your cruise.
Additional time is charged proportionally based on the hourly rate of your original booking.
Extensions can be arranged in 30-minute or 60-minute increments and must be confirmed on board.
Is there a toilet on board?
The boat is equipped with a small onboard toilet, designed primarily for short trips and emergency use.
For comfort reasons, we recommend using restroom facilities before departure. During longer cruises, the skipper can arrange short stops at suitable locations whenever possible.
Our priority is to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Please note: during winter cruises, restroom use on board may be limited.
Accessibility
Direct wheelchair roll-on access is not possible. If a guest is able to take a few steps onto the boat, our crew will be happy to assist. Foldable wheelchairs can be safely stored on board.
